No burger is complete without a bun
In order to produce good bread, it is essential that our wheat is of the highest quality and that it has been closely monitored at all stages; from growing all the way to the bakery. The traditional thin crust and uniform golden colour is obtained thanks to the high quality of our flour that contains no GMOs or artificial additives. With regards to our dough, McDonald’s has chosen to keep things simple. Our bread is made out of water, flour, yeast, a pinch of sugar and a splash of oil to ensure its moisture. All of our buns are baked in large ovens and then flash frozen and sealed in plastic. These are kept in this packaging until they are used in the kitchen where they are toasted or steamed during the preparation of our sandwiches.
