How do I order using Mobile, Order & Pay?

To use Mobile, Order & Pay, you need to have the McDonald’s® app, be registered and logged in.  If location services is enabled the app will automatically select your nearest restaurant, if not, you will see the map with all the available restaurants which you can select from.

Tap on the Order icon, scroll through our menu to add your desired products to your bag. When you’re happy with your order, click on the checkout button and select your desired pickup option. You can choose from Counter, Table Service, Drive-Thru or Curbside. These options may vary by restaurant and time of day.

Once you select the pickup option, you need to confirm your order and proceed to payment. Select your preferred payment method from the dropdown menu and tap on the ‘place order & pay now’ button.

What is a curbside order?

You can park the car in a designated curbside parking slot, and we bring your order to your car. This pick-up option is currently available at our MIA & Gharghur restaurants. Once you’ve completed your order, select curbside as your pick-up option and input the curbside parking number. Your food should be delivered to your car within 3-5 mins. Pre-ordering is not available with Curbside.

How does MOP work with Drive-Thru orders?

A drive-thru order can be submitted from the comfort of your own home up to 2 hours before pick-up. Once you arrive at the Drive-Thru, tap on ‘My Order’ and share the order number at the Drive-Thru speaker, so that the kitchen can start preparing your order. The payment is automatically processed through the app when the order is submitted, no payment is therefore required at McDrive. If the order is not picked up within 2 hours, the paid order will be lost and will no longer be available for pick-up. 

Can I add deals or rewards to my McDonald’s mobile order?

All applicable deals & MyMcDonald’s Rewards™ are available for redemption through Mobile Order & Pay. Simply tap on the desired deal or rewards, tap the redeem button and select ‘Add to pick-up order’ option.

Do I receive Loyalty Rewards when using MOP?

Yes! You earn points on everything you purchase from McDonald’s®, so if you’re redeeming an offer or reward and ordering more food in addition to that, you will still earn 10 points for every €1 you spend.

What happens if I do not collect my order from counter or curbside?

Payment for all orders are processed as soon as the order is submitted. We will start preparing your food as soon as you place your order for pickup at counter. If you fail to collect it within 20 minutes, your order will be discarded without replacement or refund. If you place an order for table service or delivery to curbside and you’re not there to collect your order, we will keep the food for a maximum of 20 minutes. Once the 20 minutes lapse, your order will be lost without replacement or refund.

What happens if I don’t pick up my drive-thru order?

The drive-thru order payment is processed as soon as the order is submitted from the McDonald’s® App. If the 2-hour pick-up window lapses, the restaurant will not be able to find your order and it will be lost. If you require assistance in relation to this, kindly fill in this form and one of our McDonald’s® Customer Service representatives will handle your request, within 24 to 48 hours. Our customer care representatives work office hours Monday to Friday.

How do I add payment information in the McDonald’s® app?

You can add or remove a card from the My Account tab by tapping on the manage credit cards option.  Follow the prompts on the screen, complete the required fields within the payment form and choose ‘Save’ to add a new card.

What forms of payment are accepted?

 The McDonald’s® app accepts VISA, Mastercard, Maestro, Google Pay or Apple Pay.

Can I order breakfast at a McDonald’s® nearby using Mobile Order & Pay?

You can use Mobile Order & Pay to order McDonald’s® breakfast, as well as your other favourite McDonald’s® meals and treats. Breakfast is available from 7:00 till 10:00 daily. Drive-Thru breakfast orders must be collected by 10:00.

What should I do if I suspect fraudulent activity on my account?

If you believe incorrect or unauthorized charges appear on your account, you should immediately contact your bank. You should also update your password immediately. Security experts recommend that individuals use good password complexity and different username and password combinations for each account.

What if I was charged for a product that is not available?

The McDonald’s® app will label products that are currently unavailable for specific locations to prevent you from ordering those products. If you attempt to reorder an item that contains multiple products, where one or more of the products is unavailable, you will get a window pop-up with an error message.

What if I have an issue with a payment or want a refund?

If you have an issue with a payment, kindly fill in this form and one of our McDonald’s®  Customer Service representatives will handle your request, within 24 to 48 hours. Our customer care representatives work office hours Monday to Friday.

Why can’t I access my loyalty points?

If you have difficulty accessing your previously earned loyalty points, it could be that you did not renew your consent after we launched the mobile ordering feature on the app. Don’t worry, you can consent to the loyalty program and accept to receive personalised offers based on your preferences and order history, by checking the toggle on the My Account section. Once this is done you will be able to access all your previously earned points as well as start earning more points when ordering through the McDonald’s® app.
